Our first bullet-DNP system
NMR Desk
Control of all hyperpolarized NMR experiments
Magnet Control
Control Systems for Polarizer Magnets
Autoloader
This machine prepares bullets automatically.
Clyde (right) and Marie (left)
Bullets are hyperpolarized by Clyde, and spectra are recorded by Marie. Marie can also do MRI.
Klystron
95 GHz Pulsed DNP
Hook up to Dirac
A long tunnel connects Clyde to IBG-4's 850 MHz magnet.
Field-Cycling System
This old system has become invaluable for our research!

Our group is part of the Institute for Biological Interfaces 4. We share the lab with the groups of Burkhard Luy and Claudia Muhle-Goll. We own two 400 MHz systems, of which one is equipped for MRI, two DNP polarizers (operating at up to 9.4 T), and one field-cycling system. We have access to an 850 MHz spectrometer, as well as to 600 MHz and 400 MHz Bruker liquid-state NMR instruments. We share a chemistry lab and a biology lab for sample preparation. Our group owns a Haas SMM2 CNC mill with 5-axis option, a Weiler manual lathe, and a Haas ST-10 CNC lathe for rapid prototyping.
